Mini Solids

One day I'll have a properly functioning lens for my camera again and be able to take decent pictures. Right now though, I have only myself to blame because I've been such a slacker about sending it in for repair. I was all set to do it on Friday when I discovered that every box I have is WAY too big for the lens. I hope to have that problem rectified very soon though and finally get this off my to do list.

In the meantime, Instagram is where it's at. And where it's at is my latest solids quilt top.

Quilt in progress

Man, did it come together fast! After making the large solids quilt and my grandma's granny squares quilt, it took no time at all to whip up this little quilt top. It's about 30x40 and I have the perfect flannel fabric that I'm going to use for the backing. I can't wait to have my first finish of 2013!

I'm also back at work on one of my knitting projects. At the rate I'm going, I should be finished by the end of 2014, but I guess progress is progress, right?

Maybe one day I'll finish this knitting project

One day this will keep me warm and cozy! I just finished up the 2nd of 5 skeins so at least soon I can tell myself that I'm halfway finished. Am I the only person who knits this slow? In general, I'm a quick worker but knitting does not follow that pattern!

I am a horribly slow knitter as well. It takes a year (or more) o make a pair of socks.

I have been using my instagram lately because the lighting has been so poor..sign of laziness? Oops!

I love the way your solids looks. The colors are so crisp..your piecing is amazing!
